Gallagher relaunches aviation insurance portal Jacinth with real-time features

The updated platform supports fleet tracking in real time and includes claim reporting plus dynamic premium feedback based on exposure data.

Global insurance broker Gallagher has relaunched its aviation insurance web portal Jacinth, rolling out new features aimed at improving how clients manage aviation insurance risk. The platform is designed to provide an interconnected insurance management system, with tools for risk assessments and adjustments to insurance programmes.

Gallagher says Jacinth can track aircraft fleets in real time, deliver detailed claim information and analysis, and provide dynamic premium feedback based on exposures. It also includes document access, with insurance certificates and other materials available for instant download, alongside comprehensive reporting capabilities.

At the core of the updated portal is new smart capture technology that lets risk managers input accurate, real-time asset data, such as aircraft information, into the system. Gallagher adds that this data is integrated with live aircraft transponder tracking, and that the process is connected with insurers, creating the potential for pricing that reflects real-time exposures.

Gallagher designed Jacinth as a centralized system to manage insurance certification, insured fleet details and movements, incident recording, and subsequent claims and documentation, all in a secure ecosystem from policy start through expiry. In the announcement, the company also highlighted that Jacinth reaches more than 225,000 readers each month and has more than 27,000 email subscribers.
