Hudson Insurance CEO Chris Gallagher to retire on Oct. 1, 2026
Carl Overy, CEO of parent Odyssey Group, will take on the additional roles of president and CEO when Gallagher steps down.
Hudson Insurance Group CEO Chris Gallagher will retire effective October 1, 2026, after 24 years with the company, according to Coverager.
As part of the succession plan, Carl Overy, CEO of parent company Odyssey Group, will assume the additional roles of president and CEO of Hudson, while Gallagher has led Hudson since 2009.
Hudson said Trevor Howard will become chief underwriting officer, and Andre Virgilio will become chief operating officer of Hudson Crop & Livestock. Howard joined in 2018 and currently leads HudsonPro while overseeing Commercial Auto, Surety, Subcontractor Default Insurance and Ceded Re.
Virgilio joined in 2012 and currently heads Hudson Crop & Livestock, the outlet said.
