Norton Rose Fulbright expands within Downtown Houston tower to 139K SF

The Norton Rose Fulbright Tower expansion lifts the building to 70% leased and 63% occupied, with additional tenant leases including Boston Consulting Group.

Norton Rose Fulbright has expanded within its Downtown Houston namesake tower, increasing its total footprint to 139,000 square feet, according to Bisnow. The firm’s expansion comes at the Norton Rose Fulbright Tower at 1550 Lamar Street, a 28-story building developed by Skanska that opened in August 2024.

Skanska said the anchor tenant’s expansion brings the tower to 70% leased and 63% occupied. The office building includes amenities such as a ground-floor coffee shop, Tenfold, and a restaurant called Zaranda.

Bisnow also noted that other tenants have leased space in the tower, including Boston Consulting Group, which took 53,000 square feet, and firms Third Coast Infrastructure and Hicks Johnson PLLC, each leasing 21,000 square feet.

The same Houston deal rundown also covered a sale of Seabrook Shopping Center, a 25,000-square-foot multitenant retail property with 19,000 square feet of available space, and Finial Group’s acquisition of a fully leased 21,500-square-foot tiltwall industrial facility to launch an industrial aggregation fund.
