Sharon AI signs $1.32 billion, five-year cloud computing deal

The agreement is expected to start generating revenue in the first half of 2027 and targets deployment of AI capacity in New Zealand.

Sharon AI has signed a five-year cloud computing service agreement valued at $1.32 billion, a contract that spans data center infrastructure in New Zealand, according to Yahoo Finance.

The company, which listed on the Nasdaq in February 2026 and trades under the SHAZ ticker, said revenue from the deal is expected to begin in the first half of 2027.

Sharon AI plans to deploy cloud computing solutions across New Zealand data center infrastructure under the arrangement, and it estimates more than 62,000 Nvidia GPUs deployed by this time next year.

The firm also said its total AI capacity would reach 132 megawatts, with 116 MW already contracted to end customers, adding that it sees continued demand across enterprise, government, AI native, hyperscale, and research customers in the Asia-Pacific region.
