Spot Bitcoin ETFs add for a sixth straight day, taking in $203M
In the six-session streak, US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in about $930 million, while year to date they are still down $4.8 billion net.
US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds extended a streak of net inflows to six straight sessions, adding $203.1 million on Tuesday, according to Cointelegraph. Over the six-session run, the ETFs attracted about $930 million, their longest consecutive inflow period since April, based on SoSoValue data cited by the outlet.
Cointelegraph links the inflows to a move higher in Bitcoin prices during the session. Bitcoin traded above $65,000 and briefly climbed to $66,700, with the report noting BTC was around $65,802 at publication.
The article also provided longer-running figures for the product lineup. It said the ETFs have accumulated $51.8 billion in cumulative net inflows since launch, with total net assets at $80.9 billion, while remaining about $4.84 billion in net outflows year to date.
Analysts quoted by Cointelegraph said Bitcoin likely needs to break above and hold the $65,000 to $65,500 range to strengthen the case for a sustained uptrend.
