Uniti raises $12M Series-A to deploy AI agents for landlords
The New York startup, which built its AI layer for leasing and operations, said it plans to expand headcount and that users reported a 214% ROI at one self-storage operator.
Uniti, a New York proptech company focused on using AI agents for landlords, has closed its $12 million Series-A round, its second funding round. Bisnow reports the round was led by Pathlight, with participation from MetaProp and other investors.
The company said the agents plug into leasing and operational workflows, helping with tasks such as scheduling prospective tenants to view residential units, following up on inquiries, and handling transactions by phone. It also automates operational functions including collections, maintenance, reviews, and payments.
Uniti co-founder and CEO Francesco Decamilli said the firm expects to grow from about 40 employees today to roughly 50 to 60 by year end, using the funding to invest further in growth. The company previously raised a $4 million seed round led by Prudence in early 2025.
Decamilli told Bisnow that customers have seen strong business impact from the platform, including a 214% ROI for one self-storage operator and 306% net revenue retention overall as services are rolled out across additional properties. On the leasing side, he said companies have been able to triple conversion rates from initial inquiry to tenant move-in.
