Ascent Insurance Group acquires Baker Harris Hopkins agency
The acquisition expands Ascent’s footprint in northern Oklahoma and adds an Enid-based agency covering personal, commercial, farm, life, health, and specialty lines.
Ascent Insurance Group has acquired Baker Harris Hopkins Insurance Agency, an independent agency based in Enid, Oklahoma, according to Coverager.
The deal, described as a Keystone platform partnership, expands Ascent’s presence in northern Oklahoma and increases the company’s distribution of personal, commercial, farm, life, and health insurance, plus specialty coverage.
Baker Harris Hopkins will gain access to Ascent and Keystone’s resources, market relationships, and operational support, while keeping its local, client-focused approach, the outlet said.
Ascent, founded in 2007 and headquartered in Edmond, Oklahoma, provides personal, commercial, life, and specialty insurance to individuals and businesses.
