Goosehead appoints Mark Jones, Jr. CEO effective Jan. 1, 2027
Current CEO Mark Miller will retire Dec. 31, 2026, and remain on Goosehead’s board after the transition.
Goosehead Insurance, an independent personal lines insurance agency, has named Mark Jones, Jr. as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2027.
The company said its current CEO, Mark Miller, will retire on December 31, 2026, and will continue serving on Goosehead’s Board of Directors after stepping down from the top role.
Jones, Jr., who currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer, is expected to lead continued execution of the firm’s long-term strategy, including expanding its technology platform, growing its distribution network, and delivering client service.
Goosehead said the transition is part of its succession planning, with Miller having joined the company in 2022 and Jones, Jr. joining in 2016, including leadership roles across finance and operations.
