Oakbridge Insurance partners with Charlotte-area firm
The partnership aims to preserve continuity for Helms clients while expanding access to Oakbridge’s national carrier and specialty resources.
Oakbridge Insurance Agency LLC said it has entered a partnership with Larry S. Helms & Associates Insurance Services, a commercial and personal lines firm serving the greater Charlotte, North Carolina, market.
The deal is designed to combine Helms’ local expertise and client-facing advisors with Oakbridge’s national specialty resources and carrier access, while keeping Helms’ leadership team in place to maintain continuity of service as capabilities expand.
Oakbridge said the arrangement will let Helms broaden its specialty coverage and negotiating support without giving up local control, with Helms highlighting the need to anticipate market shifts and structure insurance programs that endure.
The outlet also tied the move to Charlotte’s growth, citing US Census Bureau estimates that the city added more than 20,700 residents between July 2024 and July 2025, and described Helms’ specialty collector vehicle work in a Hagerty-focused book.
