Skanska advances Bevel mass-timber office tower in downtown Bellevue

Bevel is planned as an approximately 200,000-square-foot workplace environment and will sit next to Skanska’s recently completed, 90% leased office tower, The Eight.

Skanska announced continued progress on Bevel, its planned 12-story mass-timber office tower in downtown Bellevue, with the project still in the architectural design and entitlement phase with the City of Bellevue, according to ConnectCRE.

The development is set to be located at the corner of 106th Ave. NE and NE 9th Pl., and is planned as an approximately 200,000-square-foot workplace environment.

ConnectCRE also notes that Bevel will be adjacent to The Eight, Skanska’s recently completed Bellevue office tower that is currently 90% leased.

When completed, the project is expected to be among the tallest mass-timber office towers in the U.S., and a major commercial mass-timber office development, the outlet said, citing remarks from Charlie Foushée, Executive Vice President and Regional Manager for Skanska USA Commercial Development’s Seattle market.
