Walton Communities sells Walton Lakes and The Legacy at Walton Lakes
The buyer, Clark Ventures, was able to assume HUD financing for Walton Lakes, while JLL represented it in the affordable acquisition financing for The Legacy at Walton Lakes.
Housing and commercial real estate outlet ConnectCRE reports that Walton Communities sold two multifamily properties in Atlanta. The transactions covered Walton Lakes, a 305-unit, market-rate community, and The Legacy at Walton Lakes, a 126-unit, 55+ LIHTC property.
The buyer in both deals was Clark Ventures. ConnectCRE says Clark Ventures could assume HUD financing for Walton Lakes, and JLL represented the buyer on the affordable acquisition financing for The Legacy at Walton Lakes.
Both properties, completed in 2009, include six garden-style buildings offering one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes. ConnectCRE adds the assets sit on a 35.83-acre site at 4687 Camp Creek Parkway in Atlanta’s South Fulton submarket.
JLL Capital Markets’ Investment Sales and Advisory team represented the seller, with the affordable housing team also participating. ConnectCRE lists John Weber, Peter Yorck, and Nick Brown, alongside Doug Childers, Michael Fox, Murphy Holloway, and Melissa Bloem, as part of the representation.
