Bluhawk in Kansas City adds L.L.Bean and seven other retail tenants
The 277-acre master-planned development said construction continues after its 2025 groundbreaking, and it is already opening retail and hospitality components.
Bluhawk, a 277-acre master-planned development in Overland Park, Kansas, announced a new retail tenant lineup led by outdoor lifestyle brand L.L.Bean, alongside Spavia Day Spa, JETSET Pilates, Chicken Salad Chick, Brookside Barkery & Bath, Amorino, Everbowl and Bruú Café, with more tenants planned. ConnectCRE reports that L.L.Bean marks the brand’s return to Kansas City, while Amorino will make its Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri debut at Bluhawk. The development said construction is progressing following the project’s 2025 groundbreaking. J.Crew Factory, Buckle and Barnes & Noble are already open. Bluhawk also highlighted a hospitality milestone, noting the May 2026 opening of Holiday Inn Express by IHG, developed and managed by Price Hospitality, as the first of three planned hotels.
