Caliber Mining and Logistics shares slip after IPO debut at premium

The stock began trading at a 19% premium on the BSE and later traded around ₹463, still above the ₹424 issue price despite broader weak sentiment.

Caliber Mining and Logistics shares listed on Indian exchanges on Friday, 24 July, opening above the IPO price but giving back early gains as market sentiment stayed soft, LiveMint Markets reported.

On the BSE, the stock debuted at ₹504, a 19% premium over the ₹424 issue price, while on the NSE it started at ₹500.25, about 18% above. It subsequently fell to around ₹463.15 on the BSE and ₹463.35 on the NSE, with both levels still above the offer price.

The IPO was a book build deal with a fresh issue of 94 lakh shares and an offer for sale of 12 lakh shares. The price band was ₹402 to ₹424, the offer ran from 17 July to 21 July, and saw an overall subscription of 155 times, including 43 times for the retail portion and 282 times for the NIIs segment.

According to the filing, the company planned to use net proceeds from the fresh issue to pay certain borrowings, buy commercial vehicles and plant and machinery, and for general corporate purposes. The company said revenue from operations grew at a CAGR of 32.67% from ₹953.12 crore in FY24 to ₹1,677.66 crore in FY26, while consolidated profit rose from ₹95.90 crore in FY24 to ₹157.90 crore in FY26.
