Deferred joins Marcus & Millichap’s 1031 exchange partner program
The deal aims to give Marcus & Millichap clients technology-enabled access to qualified intermediary services and exchange education.
Marcus & Millichap announced that Deferred, a technology-powered qualified intermediary for 1031 exchanges, has joined its Preferred Partner Program to provide 1031 exchange solutions, according to ConnectCRE.
The program is intended to give Marcus & Millichap clients streamlined access to qualified intermediary services plus Deferred’s exchange platform, educational resources, and exchange professionals.
ConnectCRE said the partnership is positioned as investors look to maximize after-tax proceeds while preserving purchasing power amid shifting interest rates, tax considerations, and market conditions.
Marcus & Millichap’s chief growth officer, Richard Matricaria, said in a quote carried by ConnectCRE that 1031 exchanges remain a key tool for investors seeking to preserve equity and reposition capital, adding that Deferred offers a modern, client-focused approach supported by expertise, service, and technology.
