Guidewire adds former AXA executive to board effective August 1
Guidewire said Alexander Vollert will help shape its AI development around customer outcomes as the company builds AI into its platform.
Guidewire appointed Alexander Vollert to its board of directors, effective August 1, in a leadership reshuffle spanning insurtech governance, wholesale and specialty insurance, and related technology and trade advocacy, according to Insurance Business.
Vollert previously served as chief executive officer of AXA Group Operations through December 2025, and also held roles including chief operating officer of AXA SA and CEO of AXA Germany, with earlier experience at Allianz SE and McKinsey & Company. Guidewire chairman Michael Keller said Vollert brings operator and CEO experience, including driving large scale digital transformation and establishing AI at scale, and will support a focus on customer outcomes as AI is integrated into the platform.
The same roundup also detailed other staffing changes, including CRC Benefits adding Alexis Krieg as a benefits sales executive, and NAMIC hiring Maggie Seidel as senior vice president of strategic communications. Krieg will support broker partners on ancillary benefits products, while Seidel will oversee marketing and advocacy communications for NAMIC and its more than 1,300 member companies.
