NCL Research shares jump as board weighs new retail lending products

The company plans a board meeting on July 29, 2026 to consider digital personal loans, salary-based loans, and loans for self-employed professionals.

NCL Research & Financial Services shares rose nearly 5% on Friday, July 24, 2026, despite ongoing pressure on Indian equities, according to LiveMint Markets.

The gain followed the company’s plan to expand beyond its traditional non-banking financial company operations by moving into retail lending.

In an exchange filing, NCL Research said its board of directors will meet on July 29, 2026 to consider introducing a range of new lending products, including digital personal loans, salary-based personal loans, and loans for self-employed professionals.

The company also said its board would evaluate other consumer finance solutions and permissible retail lending products, subject to regulatory approvals, and may amend its Memorandum of Association if needed. LiveMint Markets added that the stock opened at ₹0.82 on the BSE, traded between ₹0.80 and ₹0.86 intraday, and has gained sharply over multiple timeframes, including 29.69% over the past week and 66% year to date.
