Price Forbes appoints Craig McCoig-Lees to lead Singapore casualty MGA
The broker said the hire is aimed at expanding its MGA proposition in Singapore and supporting third party MGAs with access to capacity and underwriting expertise.
Price Forbes, an independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has appointed Craig McCoig-Lees as Head of Casualty MGA in Singapore.
In the role, he will report to Bruce Ford, Chief Commercial Officer of Reinsurance and Wholesale, and is tasked with expanding Price Forbes Re’s MGA proposition. The appointment also includes helping third party MGAs gain access to capacity, underwriting expertise and strategic growth solutions.
McCoig-Lees brings more than three decades of industry experience, most recently as Head of Casualty MGA at Howden Re. Previously, he held senior roles at Lockton International and JLT Re, and has been based in Singapore for 13 years.
Price Forbes said it sees a growth opportunity in the MGA space as new hubs emerge and regulation evolves, adding that McCoig-Lees is expected to build out the firm’s regional presence within the wider Ardonagh Group.
