Uber and Waymo end exclusivity arrangement in Atlanta and Austin
CNBC Markets reports that Uber and Waymo will end their exclusivity arrangement for Waymo driverless rides in Atlanta and Austin, Texas.
Starting in 2028, Waymo rides in those cities will be available on platforms other than Uber.
The change applies to availability on non-Uber platforms, while the timeline for opening up distribution is set for 2028.
