China industrial profit growth slows in June as oil prices retreat
CNBC reports that China’s industrial profit growth slowed again in June, with retreating oil prices weighing on earnings.
The outlet said corporate earnings had shown one of the strongest turnarounds in the economy this year, moving from barely positive growth in 2025 to double digit gains earlier.
CNBC noted that the June slowdown reflects how weaker energy prices can reduce profit lift for industrial firms.
