Fletch launches pet insurance quote comparison app inside ChatGPT

The app returns side-by-side live quotes from participating insurers and lists monthly premium and plan terms like deductible, reimbursement rate, and annual limits.

Fletch has launched a pet insurance comparison app inside ChatGPT that lets US pet owners get and compare live quotes without leaving the conversation, the company said. The tool collects basic pet details, including species, name, breed, age and sex, along with the owner’s ZIP code and email address.

After the information is entered, the app displays quotes from participating insurers in a side-by-side view. Users can compare monthly premium, deductible, reimbursement rate, annual limit, and whether wellness coverage is included, then review carrier cards and continue to purchase on the insurer’s website.

In an example test involving a four-year-old male golden retriever, the app produced accident and illness quote options from Spot, Lemonade, Prudent Pet, and Healthy Paws, with monthly estimates ranging from $35.95 to $112.05. The company says the app is a comparison and discovery tool, quotes are non-binding, and final pricing, eligibility, and coverage are set by each insurer.

Separately, the material says the lawsuit involving 360 Reviews and U.S. News & World Report is ongoing, seeking $20 million in compensatory damages, and that through its partnership with Fletch, We Insure will add several pet insurance providers to its portfolio. It also states that beginning October 1, Insurify users will be able to get pet insurance quotes from multiple pet insurers.
