Hines buys four Prince William County sites for over 1,000 homes

The Houston developer plans mixed townhomes, duplexes, detached single-family homes, and affordable units across Gainesville, Woodbridge, Manassas, and Nokesville.

Hines is assembling a new slate of residential development in Prince William County, Virginia, acquiring four sites in Gainesville, Woodbridge, Manassas, and Nokesville for a planned total of more than 1,000 units, the company said.

The developments, Grayson Overlook, King’s Grove, Hoadly Square and Village at Broad Run, are expected to include a mix of single and stacked townhomes, duplexes, single-family detached homes, and affordable units.

Hines said it plans to move forward with site planning, engineering, and infrastructure work tied to the projects. “Living remains a high-conviction theme for Hines,” Ray Lawler, head of Americas, said in the company release, adding the communities show the firm’s approach in markets where housing demand is acute.
