Maria Burke Interiors to move studios to Townside Shopping Center
The Charlottesville, Virginia tenant plans to take occupancy at 2215 Ivy Road by early fall, relocating five employees to the 60,000 square-foot mixed-use property.
Maria Burke Interiors, LLC is moving its design studios and five employees to Townside Shopping Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, according to ConnectCRE.
The firm, founded in 2015 by Maria Burke, plans to take occupancy of the new space at 2215 Ivy Road by early fall. Sam Orr and Brian Thomas of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services represented the tenant in the lease transaction.
Townside Shopping Center is a two-story mixed-use project that includes corporate office, professional services, retail tenants, and restaurants, and it sits adjacent to the University of Virginia.
Burke said the location and high-profile exterior will act as a corporate advertisement for the studio, which she expects to translate into increased business activity. MacKenzie’s Orr added that the new site provides expansion opportunities for the firm and its team.
