Nauto teams with Auto Fleet Control for AI fleet safety in Germany

The rollout starts with nobleglass, which will integrate the solution across roughly 130 vehicles, and AFC estimates accident-rate reductions of up to 20.0% to 30.0%.

Nauto, a Palo Alto, California-based company founded in 2015, has partnered with Auto Fleet Control (AFC) to deploy its AI-powered driver safety technology for commercial fleets across Germany, integrating the system into AFC PRIME.

The combined offering pairs Nauto’s dashcam-based platform, which analyzes driver behavior and road conditions and issues real-time alerts and coaching, with AFC’s claims and risk management services, alongside insurance coverage from Zurich Versicherung.

AFC said it serves more than 300 customers and manages risks and claims for over 100,000 vehicles and drivers. The solution is initially being rolled out by mobile automotive glass services provider nobleglass across a fleet of about 130 vehicles.

AFC estimates participating fleets could reduce accident rates by up to 20.0% to 30.0%, and it said data from the platform may help support insurance pricing based on actual fleet behavior. Coverager reports the partnership is aimed at shifting fleets from reactive claims management to proactive risk prevention, with AFC CEO Daniele Baldino highlighting that goal.
