Rusagro revenue rises 27% in second quarter on higher grain and oils sales

Rusagro said its grains and oil and fat revenue growth was driven by higher sales volumes, including grain sales up to 454,000 tonnes and oil and fat revenue up 15% to 57.7 billion rubles.

Rusagro, Russia’s vertically integrated agricultural holding company, reported second-quarter revenue growth of 27% year on year in its latest earnings report, attributing the increase to higher sales volumes of grains and oil and fat products.

Revenue rose to 107.4 billion rubles, up from 84.7 billion rubles a year earlier, with its Oil and Fat business revenue increasing 15% to 57.7 billion rubles. The company linked the rise to higher production volumes at its Atkarsky oil extraction plant after modernization was completed in January 2026.

In agriculture, Rusagro said Agricultural business revenue quadrupled year on year to 14.2 billion rubles as wheat and soy sales expanded. Grain crop sales tripled to 454,000 tonnes, including wheat sales up seven-fold to 318,000 tonnes, corn up 10% to 118,000 tonnes, and soy sales volume reaching 199,000 tonnes tied to higher yields in the 2025-26 season and expanded sales.

Rusagro also reported growth in its Sugar business, where revenue rose 64% year on year to 13.4 billion rubles on higher sales volume. The company said it farms 637,000 hectares and has more than 1 million tonnes of grain storage capacity, and it sells products in Russia and exports to 49 countries, according to its earnings materials.
