Kristin Daur appointed President of Ryan Specialty Renewables, North America
The renewable-focused managing general underwriter unit was unified under one leadership structure and includes PERse North America, PERse International, and Albus.
Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, the underwriting management division of Ryan Specialty, has appointed Kristin Daur as President of Ryan Specialty Renewables, Head of North America, effective immediately, according to Reinsurance News.
Ryan Specialty Renewables, the unit’s managing general underwriter focused on renewable and energy transition solutions, was recently unified and now brings PERse North America, PERse International, and Albus under a single vision and leadership structure.
Daur will oversee the unit’s strategic direction, underwriting performance, operational execution, and continued growth for the North American business, and she will work closely with Ryan Specialty Renewables leadership to advance the platform’s global strategy, deepen North American and international collaboration, enhance service capabilities, and drive innovation for brokers and capital trading partners.
Ryan Specialty Renewables CEO Jeff Smith said Daur has helped build the platform and develop underwriting capabilities during PERse’s evolution, while RSUM CEO Miles Wuller said Daur has led with deep renewable energy insurance market knowledge and management experience spanning about 15 years.
