SK Hynix shares plunge 10% in Seoul amid broader chip sell-off
SK Hynix shares fell sharply in Seoul on Tuesday, dropping about 10% as the semiconductor sell-off broadened, extending losses in the chip sector.
CNBC Markets said the decline followed another weak session for semiconductor-related stocks on Wall Street, which spilled over into Korean markets.
The slide in SK Hynix highlighted how the sell-off in global chipmakers is continuing to weigh on semiconductor equities across regions.
