Travelers expands product liability coverage for life sciences to California
The Travelers Synergy offering now covers life sciences companies across all 50 states and includes options such as errors and omissions, product recall expenses, and clinical trial medical expenses.
Travelers has expanded its product liability insurance offering for life sciences companies, Travelers Synergy, to California, completing a rollout across all 50 states, according to Coverager.
The program is designed to help protect life sciences firms against product-related claims throughout the product development life cycle, from research and development through manufacturing and distribution, with core coverage for bodily injury and property damage.
Travelers Synergy can be supplemented with optional add-ons, including errors and omissions liability, product recall expenses, and clinical trial medical expenses.
Coverager also noted that Travelers said the offering is built to serve life sciences companies at different stages, and that the insurer generated nearly $49 billion in revenue in 2025, with more than 30,000 employees worldwide.
