Bitcoin spot volume set for weakest month since late 2023
K33 expects derivatives activity to stay subdued, contributing to the low spot trading levels.
Bitcoin spot trading activity is on track for its weakest month since late 2023, according to analytics firm K33.
The Block reports that K33 is pointing to softer activity across derivatives markets as a reason spot volumes are staying muted during the current stretch.
With trading activity already tracking toward the lowest monthly level in roughly a year, the firm characterized the period as a possible “sleepy July” for bitcoin.
