Centene board changes and insurance firms add new leaders
The leadership updates include a new employee benefits practice leader at Starkweather & Shepley and a compliance hire at Corgi Insurance.
Insurance Business reports a series of leadership changes across insurance and financial services firms, including Centene’s board update, personnel moves at NFP and Starkweather & Shepley, and new appointments tied to distribution and compliance functions. NFP, an Aon company, named Fran Chamberlain senior vice president for its upstate New York risk capital team. Based in Albany, Chamberlain will manage client relationships and help lead operational and strategic initiatives for the property and casualty business, reporting to Paul Costantino. Starkweather & Shepley appointed Chris Nadeau as employee benefits practice leader, succeeding Joan Greenwell, who is retiring after more than 15 years in the role. Nadeau, who has more than 35 years of employee benefits consulting experience, will oversee growth and strategic direction, including expanding consulting capabilities and strengthening carrier and client relationships. Other changes described by Insurance Business include Guardian naming a head of distribution for its individual markets business, Corgi Insurance bringing on a head of compliance and regulatory affairs, and Centene confirming a board retirement along with a new board appointment.
