KingsCover rebrands as Dominion First without changing its church coverage
Dominion First said the name change leaves ownership, leadership, staffing, and existing client policies in place, while it highlighted property, liability, and abuse coverage offerings and $3 million in estimated premium savings since launching Nov. 1, 2025.
KingsCover Insurance Services, which focuses on the church and ministry market, has rebranded as Dominion First Insurance Services, LLC. The company said the change is limited to its name, with ownership, leadership, staffing, and existing client policies remaining unaffected as the same team continues to manage the agency’s business.
Dominion First said it retains its role as The Agency Partner of Texas Baptists and a premier partner in the KingsCover Underwriters program. The agency attributed Premier designation to pricing, terms, and claims-handling advantages it said other firms serving the same niche cannot match, and it referenced its stewardship mission in explaining the rebrand.
The agency operates exclusively in the church and ministry space, offering a range of coverages including property and general liability, specialty liability lines such as crime and kidnap and ransom, employment practices liability, and directors and officers coverage, along with abuse and molestation coverage. It also lists other products such as cyber liability, excess coverage, mission travel protection, workers’ compensation, and hired and non-owned auto, plus employee benefits liability.
Dominion First said it launched on Nov. 1, 2025, and has delivered more than $3 million in estimated premium savings to clients while growing to more than 400 church and ministry clients and expanding licensing across 16 states. It also noted that as an independent agency it can access markets beyond the KingsCover Underwriters program for risks outside that program’s appetite, and it tied the update to Risk Theory’s broader MGAs and specialty program platform.
