Moonshot AI launches Kimi Ambassador Program to expand Kimi K3 adoption
The program includes an 11-question application, early access to unreleased models, API credits, and direct engagement with Moonshot’s product team.
China’s Moonshot AI has launched the Kimi Ambassador Program to broaden global adoption of its Kimi K3 model, which the company said delivers performance nearing American frontier systems, according to SCMP Economy. Moonshot described the effort as a way to convert growing attention around Kimi K3 into broader use among developers and creators. The company said that because AI models often require users to adapt them to specific workflows, external developer and community networks are an increasingly important channel for discovering new use cases.
Moonshot said it is recruiting entrepreneurs, developers, content creators, and university students described as influential in their communities. Applicants must show that they have integrated Kimi into products or workflows and are willing to share their experiences, and they complete an 11-question form covering personal details, experience with Kimi, social media presence, and community influence.
The company said the application includes open-ended prompts, including what candidates would build with unlimited access to Kimi’s application programming interface, and that successful participants will receive early access to unreleased Kimi models and experimental features. Moonshot also said ambassadors would get API credits, direct engagement with its product team, and opportunities to showcase work through official channels.
