Oil prices rise on Middle East risk after strikes in Iraq

Oil prices rose on Wednesday as investors priced in the risk of additional fighting in the Middle East after U.S. and Saudi strikes against Iran-backed militias in Iraq, according to MarketWatch.

MarketWatch reported that West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude’s front-month contracts moved higher, reflecting growing uncertainty around regional supply.
