Swig leases 44,000 SF at SF’s Mills Building to Clay AI

The lease follows Swig’s two-week-ago refinance of the circa-1891 property at 220 Montgomery St. in San Francisco’s Financial District.

ConnectCRE reports that The Swig Company leased 44,000 square feet at The Mills Building in San Francisco’s Financial District to artificial intelligence platform Clay.

The lease announcement came about two weeks after Swig refinanced the circa-1891 building at 220 Montgomery St.

ConnectCRE also reports that The Swig Company said its focused spec suite initiative at the Mills Building has resulted in leasing more than 102,000 square feet year to date, about 21% of the property.

The outlet said The Swig Company expects the leasing momentum to continue through the remainder of the year and beyond, with representatives from Newmark advising both parties.
