White Lodging to develop 295-room Autograph Charlotte hotel
The project, at South Tryon Street and Bland Street, includes nearly 10,000 square feet of meeting space and a ground-floor restaurant.
White Lodging will break ground this month on a new Autograph Collection (Marriott) hotel in Charlotte’s South End, marking its fifth Autograph property in a portfolio of more than 60 hotels, ConnectCRE reports.
The 295-room luxury hotel will be built at the intersection of South Tryon Street and Bland Street, and it will be the first full-service hotel in the South End. The development plans nearly 10,000 square feet of meeting space, along with a ground-floor restaurant.
Amenities are set to include an open-air pool deck on the fifth floor, a public steam sauna, and cold- and hot-plunge pools and a spa, ConnectCRE added.
Brasfield & Gorrie is handling construction, while Abeyta Architecture Studio & Corgan Architects are designing the project, according to the outlet.
