Aon’s second-quarter profit rises on stronger commercial risk demand
Aon said demand for commercial risk management, helped by construction activity linked to Big Tech data center spending, supported its results.
Aon reported a jump in second-quarter profit, citing strong demand for its commercial risk management services, according to Insurance Journal.
The broker said its construction business has benefited from data center spending by Big Tech firms, which has boosted demand for insurance offerings that support capital-intensive projects across their lifecycle.
Insurance Journal also noted that Aon’s performance reflected broader robustness in the market for risk management services used by businesses planning and operating large construction and technology infrastructure projects.
