China growth slows to the weakest quarterly pace since 2022
Second-quarter expansion fell below Beijing's full-year target range of 4.5% to 5%, with analysts renewing calls for added stimulus.
China posted its slowest quarterly economic growth since 2022, according to CNBC Economy, as investment slumped in the second quarter.
The report said the pace of growth came in below Beijing's full-year target range of 4.5% to 5%, a goal described as the least ambitious in decades.
CNBC Economy added that the weaker reading has helped fuel renewed expectations for additional stimulus measures.
