Zepto plans ₹1,000 crore pre-IPO round at $4.5 billion valuation
The updated Sebi draft papers say the deal includes a fresh ₹8,010 crore share issue plus an offer for sale of 11.35 crore shares, with the IPO timeline pushed back from July 2026.
Zepto is preparing a pre-IPO funding round of about ₹1,000 crore at an approximately USD 4.5 billion valuation, and has delayed the IPO timetable it had initially targeted for July 2026, according to LiveMint Markets citing updated draft papers filed with India’s markets regulator Sebi.
The filings indicate Zepto plans to raise ₹8,010 crore through a fresh issue of shares as part of its proposed IPO, alongside an offer for sale of 11.35 crore equity shares by existing shareholders.
If the listing proceeds, Zepto would join Eternal and Swiggy on Indian stock exchanges, competing in quick commerce through their respective Blinkit and Instamart businesses.
The company reported FY26 revenue from operations of ₹22,624 crore and net receivables value of ₹24,816 crore, processing an average of 17.5 lakh orders per day, and operating 1,139 stores as of March 31, 2026. For the quarter ended March 2026, Zepto handled about 210 million orders, or roughly 23.3 lakh orders per day.
