Bitcoin ETFs see $233.1M inflows, returning week to net gains
BlackRock’s IBIT led with $183.4M, and spot Bitcoin ETFs are up $203.8M for the week after Thursday’s inflows.
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds returned to net gains for the week after attracting $233.1 million in inflows on Thursday, according to Cointelegraph citing SoSoValue data.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the day’s activity with $183.4 million in net inflows, accounting for 78.7% of total inflows. Bitwise’s BITB brought in $20.7 million and Fidelity’s FBTC collected $15.5 million, while other funds saw smaller purchases.
Cointelegraph reports that the weekly figure turned positive at $203.84 million in net inflows, and the funds were set to mark a fourth straight week in the green unless Friday produced a net outflow larger than that amount.
In the broader crypto ETF complex, spot Ether ETFs recorded $13.3 million in net inflows on Thursday, with the funds showing losses in five trading sessions during July and net inflows on only four trading days in June. Cointelegraph also said Bitcoin was last around $64,338 at the time of writing, down 1.8% over the past week.
