A key finding focused on early clinical intervention, where non-emergency injuries routed through a nurse triage model, CorVel’s Advocacy 24/7, was associated with a 63% reduction in litigated claims and a 37% decrease in cost per claim nationally.
Risk and Insurance also notes that nearly half of calls were resolved with first-aid or self-care guidance, with average days open down 28%, and it points to pharmacy management, including generic efficiency above 95%, as another lever in the analysis.
