American Real Estate Association targets 100,000 members through 2027 expansions
ARA said its membership could reach at least 100,000 by year end, with complimentary memberships offered into 2027 as brokerages join the association.
HousingWire reports the American Real Estate Association is expanding its board and membership through brokerage partnerships, aiming for membership growth toward 100,000 by year end. The group, co-founded by Jason Haber and Mauricio Umansky, said it had about 30,000 members before REMAX joined and it expects continued scale as new firms align with the association.
ARA said complimentary memberships are being extended into 2027. It also described how its growth has accelerated as industry leaders joined the board, including RLTYco CEO and co-founder Briggs Ellwell, Douglas Elliman, and later REMAX leadership, with the association providing a complimentary first-year membership for REMAX agents in the United States.
The association also said Compass International Holdings will provide complimentary membership for agents brokered at company-owned operations through the remainder of 2026 and all of 2027. Haber characterized the latest board and membership additions as progress beyond early startup efforts, and he said the organization expects board expansion to continue while keeping it small enough to maintain personal familiarity.
