RPM Raceway to open first Midwest location at Oakbrook Center
The immersive racing venue will take over a former Sony Pictures Entertainment site, adding more than 45,000 square feet of multi level karting across two tracks.
RPM Raceway, an immersive racing and entertainment destination, plans to open its first Midwest location in the Chicago area at Brookfield’s Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook, Illinois, according to ConnectCRE.
The new venue will occupy a 90,000 square foot space that will transform the former Sony Pictures Entertainment location, marking RPM Raceway’s fifth site nationwide and its first in Illinois.
The Brookfield location will include more than 45,000 square feet of multi level karting across two tracks, which together form the RPM Megatrack, described as the longest multi level go kart track in the Midwest.
RPM Raceway founder and CEO Andrew Farage said the Oakbrook opening is the company’s first step into the Midwest, highlighting the partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment and the competitive entertainment experience for families, friends, and colleagues.
