Charles Schwab plans $11.7M tenant improvements for Scottsdale offices

The renovation targets a nearly 84,000-square-foot Class B office space at Two Scottsdale Landing as part of Schwab’s planned Arizona expansion.

Charles Schwab Corp. is investing in an extensive renovation of a nearly 84,000-square-foot office space in north Scottsdale, tied to its plan for a major expansion in Arizona, ConnectCRE reports. The project involves $11.7 million in tenant improvements, according to a permit filing referenced by the outlet.

The work will take place at the Two Scottsdale Landing office complex at 8701 E. Hartford Drive, off Pima and Bell roads. The space is located in a Class B building within the Two Scottsdale Landing development.

ConnectCRE also links the location to nearby business activity, noting the complex’s proximity to the 124-acre Mack Innovation Park, where Toy Barn is working on a luxury car storage facility and Rivian is opening its first Scottsdale service and repair facility. The outlet adds that the future site of Axon Enterprise Inc.’s headquarters project is also nearby.

Schwab is described by ConnectCRE as one of the largest financial companies in the U.S., with more than $13 trillion in assets under management. The outlet frames the renovation as part of Schwab’s broader physical footprint in the state.
