Compass reports Q2 jump in revenue and free cash flow after Anywhere

Compass said Anywhere closed in early January, lifting Q2 2026 revenue to $4.3B and net income to $92M, with $180M in free cash flow.

Compass International Holdings reported a sharp jump in second-quarter 2026 results, with revenue rising to $4.3B from $2.06B a year earlier, driven by its Anywhere acquisition, which closed in early January, according to HousingWire. On a pro forma basis that assumes the firms were combined a year earlier, Compass still posted 14.3% annual revenue growth. Net income increased to $92M from $39M, and the company reported positive free cash flow of $180M in the quarter. Compass also reported improving transaction activity tied to the deal. Its owned brokerage gross transaction value climbed 98.2% year over year to $155.2B, and pro forma gross transaction value was up 15.9%, helped by a 109.5% annual increase in closed transactions to 153,009 in Q2 2026. In prepared remarks, Compass CFO Scott Wahlers said the company had $694M of cash on hand and expected to generate positive free cash flow in the second half of the year, as it aims to redeem its $500M 9.75% notes when they become callable in Q2 2027. HousingWire reported integration synergies of $300M.
