HYPE ETFs see 12 straight sessions of net outflows

Hyperliquid’s HYPE ETFs reported $29.8 million in net outflows from July 17 to Aug. 3, with BHYP taking most of the withdrawals, $22.5 million.

CryptoSlate reports that Hyperliquid’s HYPE ETFs logged 12 consecutive trading sessions with no net inflows, spanning July 17 through Aug. 3, 2026. Over that period, the suite recorded $29.8 million in reported net outflows, including nine negative flow days and three sessions that were flat.

Farside Investors data cited by CryptoSlate shows BHYP absorbed $22.5 million of the outflows, far more than THYP at $5.3 million and HYPG at $2.0 million. In an Aug. 3 entry, HYPG recorded an additional $1.0 million outflow, while BHYP and THYP were flat.

Despite that recent shift, CryptoSlate notes the category still had a cushion from earlier activity. Farside’s table through Aug. 3 shows about $283.0 million of cumulative reported flows across the HYPE ETF category, including $106.3 million for BHYP, $50.0 million for THYP, and $126.9 million for HYPG.

CryptoSlate also points to the token price moving alongside the flow deterioration, with HYPE trading at $53.94 after its Aug. 3 market refresh, down 4.53% over seven days and 22.82% over 30 days. The outlet adds that ETF asset values can diverge from share creation and redemption flows due to token-linked factors like staking, fees, and distributions, and says authorized participants’ activity can influence daily flow patterns.
