Judge schedules Paramount-Warner Bros antitrust trial for March
The March trial date follows Paramount's request for a November schedule in an antitrust case brought by state attorneys general.
A judge has set a March trial date for the antitrust lawsuit tied to Paramount's plan to acquire Warner Bros., according to a NYT Business report.
Paramount had agreed to a $111 billion deal to combine the companies, and the parties’ scheduling dispute came after the media merger faced legal challenges from state attorneys general.
The report says Paramount asked for a November trial date, but the judge instead chose March for the case to proceed.
