Panera to move corporate HQ to Weston, Mass. under 102,000 SF lease

The company plans to lease office space on the fourth floor at BXP's 133 Boston Post Office Road, with renewal options for two additional five-year terms.

Panera is relocating its corporate headquarters from St. Louis to Weston, Massachusetts, according to information shared with employees and local deed records. Bisnow reports that Panera CEO Paul Carbone told staff last week that the move is to Weston, without specifying an address or office size in the communication.

Deed records cited by Bisnow show Panera signed a 102,000-square-foot lease at BXP's 133 Boston Post Office Road. The company plans to lease space on the fourth floor and can renew for two additional five-year terms, though it is not clear how many employees will relocate.

Bisnow reports that Panera plans to keep its St. Louis support center and that the headquarters move is tied to its Panera Rise three-year business strategy, which includes updating the menu, increasing value, prioritizing the guest experience, and expanding the network.

The broader operating context includes Panera announcing the closure of its bakery in Franklin, Massachusetts, and laying off nearly 100 workers in January, while the chain operates more than 2,200 company-owned and franchised cafés across North America.
