VIU by HUB launches Spero Insurance Services with Spero Financial
The branded agency will let Spero Financial members across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia shop online or with licensed advisors for auto, homeowners, and renters coverage.
VIU by HUB has partnered with South Carolina-based Spero Financial to launch Spero Insurance Services, a branded insurance agency designed to provide members with personal insurance options from more than 40 carriers, Coverager reports.
Under the arrangement, VIU by HUB will supply carrier relationships, licensing, compliance, operations, technology, and licensed insurance professionals, while Spero Financial will integrate the offering into its member experience.
Spero Financial serves more than 45,000 members and manages over $700 million in assets. The new agency will cover members in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, enabling them to shop for auto, homeowners, renters, and other personal insurance products online or with assistance from a licensed insurance advisor.
Coverager says the partnership is aimed at expanding the credit union’s financial wellness offerings and creating a new non-interest income stream through insurance policy renewals.
