Wafra acquires 899,080-sf industrial portfolio in Brownsburg, Indiana

The three-building portfolio, finished across 2022 and 2023, includes seven tenants and offers direct access to Interstate 74.

Wafra Inc., a New York-based alternative investment firm, announced it has acquired the Brownsburg Logistics Park Portfolio, a three-building industrial property totaling 899,080 square feet in Brownsburg, Indiana, according to ConnectCRE.

Funds advised by Wafra are buying the assets from a venture between Scannell Properties, an Indianapolis real estate developer, and Manulife Investment Management, part of Manulife Wealth & Asset Management.

The portfolio was completed in 2022 and 2023 and features seven tenants across diverse industries. The buildings provide direct access to Interstate 74 and are located about 12 miles from Indianapolis International Airport.

In a statement carried by ConnectCRE, David Hamm, Wafra’s Senior Managing Director and Head of Traditional Real Estate, said the firm is adding another logistics portfolio as the Indianapolis market continues to firm up.
