Brookfield Asset Management raises record $77B in Q2 2026
The firm said it deployed $21 billion in the quarter and grew net income to $1.17 billion, nearly double year over year.
Brookfield Asset Management raised a record $77 billion in the second quarter of 2026, bringing assets under management to more than $1 trillion, the company said in an earnings call, according to Commercial Observer. The firm also reported year to date inflows of $98 billion, more than half of what it raised for all of last year.
Brookfield said it deployed $21 billion during the quarter. Its seventh flagship private equity fund raised $6.7 billion, while its sixth flagship infrastructure fund brought in $9.3 billion, and both were described as on pace to become the largest funds of their respective vintages.
On the AI front, Brookfield secured $5 billion in commitments for its first AI Infrastructure Fund. Separately, it increased its financing framework with Bloom Energy for AI infrastructure power projects to $25 billion, up from a $5 billion commitment announced in October 2025.
In real estate and related transactions, Brookfield raised $4.3 billion across segment funds and deployed $5.2 billion, including buying a privately held U.S. manufactured home portfolio and taking private an outdoor industrial storage portfolio. The firm also completed its purchase of Oaktree by buying the remaining 26 percent stake for about $3 billion, aimed at boosting its credit business, and reported net income of $1.17 billion for the quarter.
