DocuSign office building in San Francisco listed around $250M

The 383,000-square-foot property at 221 Main St is nearly fully leased, with DocuSign occupying about 140,000 square feet after a recent recommitment and expansion.

A San Francisco office building that serves as headquarters for software firm DocuSign is being marketed at an asking price of around $250 million, according to ConnectCRE, citing the San Francisco Business Times.

The property, located at 221 Main St. in the city’s South Financial District, spans 383,000 square feet and is owned by Pimco Prime Real Estate, with Columbia Property Trust managing the asset, ConnectCRE said.

DocuSign has helped drive renewed leasing activity, with the building reported to be nearly 100% full after the company’s recent recommitment and expansion, plus a new round of leases.

ConnectCRE reported that DocuSign grew its presence last fall by nearly half and now occupies approximately 140,000 square feet, implying a target of roughly $650 per square foot if the guidance is achieved.
